A story about Murphy’s Law Avoided, and ConnectedNC to the rescue…

Last fall we were introduced to the services of ConnectedNC and Clinton Miller by a highly regarded local Architecture firm. They suggested that ConnectedNC would be a good fit for our IT needs – how true that would be. Clinton and his staff quickly assessed our situation, made some simple suggestions as to hardware improvements, upgraded our website, and then implemented network changes that secured our data, sped up our information management and sharing, and helped us strategize the digital approach to our company’s entire infrastructure. Weeks later our antiquated system failed to fire up, but our data was secure, and when ConnectedNC installed our new hardware, we were back up and running – faster than we could have ever managed on our own. ConnectedNC has never been more than a phone call or e-mail away – Clinton’s lame jump shot may need some work, but his professionalism and customer service are as good as it gets.

Peace of mind…

Being a small architecture firm has meant that we regularly work long hours to keep our clients satisfied. It has also meant that we spend a great deal of time that we do not have being our own accountant, maintenance crew, and most often our own IT staff. Since we began working with ConnectedNC that has changed dramatically… they have provided us with a wonderful new website, a highly functional server, regularly scheduled data backups, a secure network, off site access and the piece of mind that it will all function properly every day. And when there is an issue, they are extremely responsive and always available. At the end of the day finding ConnectedNC was one of the best things to have happened to our company to date.

Minimizing downtime; working weekends and nights…

I was referred to Connected NC by a relative and scheduled an appointment for them to analyze my existing system. We discussed current problem areas, as well as immediate expectations and possible future expansion. They were very helpful and easy to work with. They designed a cost effective system that focused on my special needs. They even worked weekends and nights to install the new system so my down-time would be minimal. They were available, via telephone, to talk me through some minor debugging issues. The new system works great and I am very pleased.

Improving efficiency and capabilities…

The Contemporary Art Museum was one of Connected NC’s first clients. They assisted our staff with a major move and IT set-up that greatly improved our efficiency and networking capabilities. Whenever I have had a technical problem they responded to me quickly and in a language that I could understand. The iFolder service was a perfect match for our organization’s needs.

24/7 Access to files…

I’m a consultant at two different offices in addition to my home office and often found myself without access to files I needed at one place or another. No more! Since I received my iFolder, I can access all my electronic files at all times, from anywhere. Plus, they’re synced every 15 minutes, which gives me the confidence I need that I won’t lose any valuable documents.
